Auburn signed 10 in-state players,
including three of the top five players on the Birmingham News' Super
Seniors list and seven overall. The Tigers were also successful pulling
in highly-touted out-of-state recruits, such as running back Benjamin
Tate and offensive linement Lee Tilley. Overall, it was an excellent
recruiting year with many nationally recruited players and skill athletes.
